ABOUT JOHANNESBURG-GUESTHOUSES

Johannesburg-guesthouses is the website of the Rosebank Region Accommodation Association. We offer a wide range of high quality bed & breakfast (B&B) and self catering accommodation ranging from bedroom units to two-bedroomed garden cottages, self-contained apartments and executive boutique lodges. We pride ourselves on offering excellent personal service (usually owner-run) with all the luxuries and attention to detail required by discerning business travelers or tourists, at very reasonable rates. Several of our accommodation establishments offer conference facilities. While some of our guesthouses accept children, some do not so please check beforehand.

CENTRAL AND CONVENIENT

Our establishments are centrally located in the quiet, attractive northern suburbs of Johannesburg, at the same time providing easy access to the surrounding areas of Parktown, Braamfontein, Johannesburg’s CBD, Rosebank, Sandton and Randburg. Medical facilities like the Rosebank Clinic, Milpark Hospital, Donald Gordon and Sandton Clinic are all adjacent. The Universities of Johannesburg and the Witwatersrand are also a short journey away.

All our accommodation is accredited, either with the National Accommodation Association (NAA), the Automobile Association (AA Travel Guides) or star-graded by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa (TGCSA), a guarantee you are choosing a comfortable place to stay. Should your choice of Guest House or B&B be fully booked, you will be referred to another that has availability.

THE NORTHERN SUBURBS Of JOHANNESBURG

Our suburbs take in the public parks of Zoo Lake in Parkview, the Zoo near Saxonwold, Melrose Bird Sanctuary, Delta Park in Craighall Park and the Johannesburg Botanical Gardens at Emmarentia. You will also find a wide range of restaurants from casual bistros to fine dining establishments. Areas like Rosebank, Norwood, Parkhurst, Melville, Parktown North and Greenside have many neighbourhood shops and pavement eateries. The shopping Malls of Hyde Park, Killarney and Rosebank offer a wide range of department stores, book shops and a choice of over 30 movie houses in three complexes. Our suburbs range from Waverley to the east of Rosebank to Bordeaux and Craighall on the north-west.
